A diverse assortment of melodic, rocking, and harmonious tunes abound here and Stockton’s superb guitar and Highwater’s inventive bass parts tie the whole package together. There are some interesting and qualified guests sitting in here too. John Magnie of the Subdudes provides some tasty accordion. David Snider, who has recorded and performed with a long list of artists including Pat Benatar, Dusty Springfield, Janis Ian, Gato Barbieri, and many more, covers the piano and organ parts, and Christian Teele, the infamous NPR E-Town rhythm man, provides drums and percussion. The songs are the jewel in this setting though. They will keep you engaged from beginning to end.
